At Mullingar Montessori School I believe Yoga and relaxation is a wonderful activity to introduce to our children.
Our full day care children do this exercise everyday for 30 minutes.
They start off by doing some yoga poses and finish with cuddles and snuggle on a yoga mat to gentle music.
The children find this daily activity very relaxing.

Our Den After School Homework Club kids also get to do mindfulness and letter writing.
(we are linked up with another after school care service so each child has a pen pal).
With all these activities I feel we are helping with the wellness of each child and encouraging calmness in their day.
