This is our 25th year at Mullingar Montessori & Afterschool care and I have loved every single day at work over those years.
I started off in my parents garage not intending to stay for any longer than 2 years as people would not travel so far out of town to my school. Click any image below to open gallery.
This has proven wrong as that was exactly what attracted parents was the fantastic larger outdoor area.
As parents learned more about Montessori versus a play school and got to know myself and how passionate I am about Early Education and developing a child’s confidence, the rest is history.
There has never been any shortage of children through these doors!
In September 2000 I expanded the school to cater for 2 to 5 year olds and I also starting expanding my own family. I have been extremely lucky and blessed to have 4 wonderful children of my own, a dream come true.
Then in June 2016 I took on the enormous task of building a purpose built facility to cater for 2-12 years olds. This was a real dream coming true to have everything picture perfect to match the level of love, care and attention every child was already receiving. We now would have the facilities to match.
So now for the 1st time in the 25 years I feel so proud of my facilities and the pure delight I feel as I see each little child arrive to the gate each morning eager to get in to play and have fun.
Everything I do is for the children and I think I myself still think and see things like a child so I know exactly what attracts them at the different stages from 2 to 12 years.
25 wonderful years at Mullingar Montessori and Afterschool Care and I am looking forward to another 25 years please God.
